Full Moon Baby Poll

I’ve heard about a lot of women having babies on full moons.  So I decided to do a quick research and apparently even when a lot of L&D nurses believe this is true, there is no correlation between full moon and deliveries.

Anyway, I thought it will be fun to have a full moon baby. The next full moon is on April 6th and my due date in on the 11th. So what do you think? Am I going to have a little werewolf?

4 Weeks to a More Organized Home Challenge: Assignment #2

I definitely think these challenge will put me into labor soon… and I am so looking forward to that! Here are my results on Assignment #2

I started my day by getting dressed in pretty clothes simply because it was the only clean clothes available in my closet. So glad to see later in the morning that it was part of the challenge. I then follow the new morning routine I created during assignment #1. However, since I was late for my MOPs meeting, I ended up doing my bible reading in the evening but it was all good.

In the afternoon, I sat down with a glass full of water and make a list of ways to accomplish the weekly goals I created yesterday. I specifically worked on writing one of the letters I needed to (only 2 to go), read a chapter of Mark and took a walked with my daughter and husband around the neighborhood to see if I get this baby moving down!

I really enjoy the 15 minute kitchen clean up. This time around I set the timer and started working. I was able to unload/load the dishwasher, clear off and wipe the counter-tops, and clean the kitchen sink.  I have to confess that for the refrigerator clean up, it took me more time to get up of the sofa than to clean it. At the end, it was almost all done. I left the doors for later because my feet started swelling… again.

I’m still working on the 7 items to get rid of today. Now I have 14 items to get rid of, but I was just not in the mood.

4 Weeks to A More Organized Home Challenge

With a baby on its way my, life has been pretty chaotic the last couple of weeks. So when I saw yesterday post “4 Weeks to A More Organized Home” at moneysavingmom.com, I decided to join in for the challenge.

Here are my results on Assignment #1

::Get dressed: Surprisingly, I was already dressed by the time I read the post.

::Goals for the week

1. Get the bassinet clean and ready once for all

2. Drink my vitamins everyday

3. Finish reading the book of Mark

4. Writing some letters

5. Having a baby!!!

::Complete your morning routine: I have decided to stop my daily schedule during the month of April. With so many changes, it’s been really hard to accomplish my schedule. I think it needs to be reviewed. So while I’m waiting for this baby to born I took the time to develop a morning routine that might work for this week.

-Shower and dressed

-Taking my vitamins and have breakfast

-Reading my bible

-Dressed my daughter and feed her

::15 minutes pick up: I didn’t set the timer, but after everyone went to bed I picked up all the toys and vacuum the living room. So nice to wake up to an organized living room this morning!

::Find 7 items to get rid of today. I’m still working on this one!

::Clean out your purse and/or diaper bag: So glad I did this on Sunday.
